Positive: Will help overcome some uneven or unlevel sites and they satisfy some states requirements to have sewer hoses off the ground.
Negative: If the campsite is severely unlevel they will not overcome the grade, also if the site has a steep edge between grass and asphalt the sidewinder has difficulty keeping the flow towards the sewer pipe.
Positive: Super tough sewer hose that will withstand rough handling without leaking or crushing.
Negative: Doesn't collapse as easily as other hoses and tends to expand in length inside of storage containers..
Positive: These combine two sewer hoses into one outlet for those trailers that have multiple dump valves. The have swivel connectors to make connecting them easy and tangle free.
Negative: Only downside is that you will either have to leave the hoses connected and store them in a bin with three caps on the hose ends, or rinse this Y connection really well before storing it. This really comes into play if you store your hoses in the bumper or the under RV storage tubes.
Positive: If you full time RV this is a must have, even for snowbirds. We were camping in Galveston Texas and had to use this hose in December to keep our water from freezing.
Negative: Don't use this hose year round, the heating element is not intended for full time use. Switch to a normal hose in the warmer months.
